jack be nimble?!

Hi Steve,

Sound like the jack flange is unglued.  If it is the last one in the
section you most likely can fix it without removing the action.  Ceck to
make sure the jack is not up under the butt felt, most unlikely from
your description, but it can happen.

Make sure you can work that jack flange back into place before applying
a little glue to the flange and reset it, making sure the jack top
aligns with the butt.

If you have a pair of long tweezers you may be able to work the flange
around well with them.  I have never been successful with that means,
but some are.
