Greetings Del,
               I agree with most that you have to say on this subject.
However when I rebuild a unit, I will include a lot of detail on the side
and top of the #1 bass key, pin size, rescale string size, touch weight
alterations, ect. Date and autograph the work. Perhaps I'm an egotist, but
I think this type of data is better kept with the piano, and could be of
use to those that follow.
