Palm Pilot & Piano Teching

What a coincidence! More on that in a moment. First...

To Dick Day: Just do it. Now that prices have dropped, you'll probably want at
least the Pro, if not the PPIII. My only regret is that I went through so many
*other* organizers before discovering the Pilot. Hindsight wins again. In
addition, more and more time managers are being ported to the Pilot every day.
Strangely, as a stand-alone program, QualComm's 'Eudora Planner', while it may
be great on a Mac, is not ready for prime time on an Intel platform. Of
course,
this is IMNSHO.

Just like your paper-based system... (or as Jerry Lewis once said, "If it's
yours you can lose it"). Try not to sit on it or shower with it. Also remember
that dogs love to chew on leather cases. Enough said.

The coincidence part. After trying various 'carriers', I finally sprung for
the FlipCase(tm) by Synergy Soltions [http//www.synsolutions.com]. I bought
the
leather one with a quick release belt clip. It arrived today. I had just
opened
the package, 'installed' the case, and downloaded pianotech mail onto the
Pilot. Then to see all these messages *about* Pilot. I thought I was in the
wrong newsgroup!

Harvey's corollary to axiom #34: Beware of "As seen on TV" items in stores.
