James I had the same results until one day when pulling the string up
slowly the SAT 11 showed the good pattern that you mention, Usually I find
myself going to the sharp side too much.  There will still be notes however
that do not read well because of false beats use ear and check the nature
chord ie. CEGC with octave GG on top
