Ferrante and Teicher

Well, here is my Ferrante and Teicher story. It was in 1984 some time when 
I got the call to tune for their concert in Harrisburg, PA. I had heard 
stories about them being real troublesome for some piano technicians. After 
talking to a technician who had tuned for them many times, I felt ready. My 
apprehension was unfounded. Both were real gentleman and very professional. 
They gave me a real surprise after intermission. Before starting, one of 
them said to the audience that "they would like to thank our piano 
technician, Don McKechnie from Reading, PA, for doing a great job. Please 
give him a hand." Made my day.

I may not be correct in this but I thought one of them lived in the Wilkes 
Barrie/Scranton area of PA.
