Dear Jims Coleman and Grebe- Isn't this what you're trying to say: A440 +4cents = 441Hz A880 +4cents = 882Hz E1320 +4cents = 1323Hz A1760 +4cents = 1764Hz so that it doesn't matter at which partial the cents are added?
