This is a multi-part message in MIME format. ---------------------- multipart/alternative attachment Hi All, Today after 36 years tuning I tuned my first Grotrian-Steinweg. It was = a model 110 in blond oak. It had an interesting bench with it ( I pay = careful attention to benches so I can incorporate good ideas into my own = benches. Instead of a lifting lid to get to storage it had an open = shelf. Gave a lot more room for storage and strengthened it at the same = time. The piano tuned very smoothly and the tone was very natural an = unforced. The tuning pins appeared to be smaller (maybe 1 (0) pins). A = company here in the early 60's sold them here for a while but I had = never seen one live. This one was bought in Germany with the owners who = live here now. It was a very pleasant experience. My hats off to the = Germans on this one.
