But it's still true. -- that one of the major impediments to the evolution of the piano is the piano salesperson. This is why. Probably more damaging disinformation and confusion about the piano is propagated by this source than by any other. One of the major problems with using plastics of any type in any product is that they are often misused. In the piano industry this is largely due to the fact that very few manufacturers maintain adequate R&D and/or engineering departments of their own. Kawai is an obvious exception. Del
