The reasoning is that those seeking a concert instrument are usually thinking Steinway or Yamaha. Not that the Baldwin isn't a consideration but some don't carry the weight the others do. I've seen these sell for a cheap $15,000.00 (which is mind boggling) but have none the less. If the piano in question has great tonal potential then I would imagine even at $25,000.00 is a good deal.
