Or, they may have been like the old circus sign painter who did a beautiful
job with the lettering on our old band equipment van. It was supposed to
take one day and "cost" two bottles of muscatel (sp) wine -- his choice. It
turned out to be a two day, four bottle job! Regardless of the implications
of this, the man was an excellent artist.
