Can't really follow this.

But!  I have done quite a bit of work (design, measurement,
experiment)
with Helmholtz resonators.  The trap for the ignorant (most frequently
musicians!) is that despite its name the H.R. actually ABSORBS sound.
So that large pottery urn and empty gin bottles gracing the music room
are actually going to absorb sound over a very narrow bands of
frequencies (high Q).  Similarly the bass reflex speakers.  All these
items should be chosen carefully to minimize the room and piano
defects
(TIC).
