Leslie (and List) I went looking for solvent at the local true value, and came home with a small bottle of "Goo Gone." It does a neat job of removing tape sticky. The bottle is small enough to fit into a corner of my kit, and there is no problem with dissolving keys (not yet at any rate). Put a bit on a cloth, and wipe it off.
