Yes, PVC-E glue, applied to the keystich AND it's front, if applic-
able, with an inexpensive, metal-handled "acid" brush ( cost: about
ten cents). If you get any glue on the keytop, itself, it will clean
off easily--while still wet--with a cloth dampened with water. PVC-E
also works well  for installing sharps, too. Non-texic? Of course!

The thing about PVC-E glue is that it NEVER completely dries and always
remains--to a degree--tacky and sticks like crazy. Once the new keytops
have been installed, let them dry overnight before trimming.

BTW, we ALL know who wrote that book recommending the installation of
plastic keytops with glue from a finger-fed, holt-melt glue gun. He
even included an illustrative picture for us. Unfortunately, he didn't
include a second picture showing the thusly-installed keytop immediately
falling off the keystick while the customer was watching! :)
