Dear Les, Sounds to me like the "Good Reverend" is puttin' the squeeze on ya about the "in use" time at the auditorium. The management of the auditorium is likely charging by the day while the pianos are on the stage and your being there probably has nothing to do with it. The Rev's concern that you will need four additional hours of tuning prior to the performance may be somewhat justified in that the pianos will not likely drift that much as a whole due to your prior prep for rehersal. A quick scan of the pianos may be all that is needed just before the performance and the Rev likely doesn't feel comfortable with being charged for four more complete tunings. My experience with multiple pianos used on one stage for simultaneous performance is that picking one scale of the lot and tuning the rest to it is the most effective method of success in this case...(IMHO) This is where the Sanderson Accu Tuner is a REAL GEM!!!!!! Good Luck!.....(been there) Dale Whitehead, RPT
