"Our life contains a thousand springs
And dies if one be gone
Strange that a harp of thousand strings
Should keep in tune so long."

-Dr. Watts, "The Continental Harmony", 1794

These are the last lines from the embryology textbook "Comparative Anatomy
and Embryology" (Ronald Press, 1964) by my father William Whitney Ballard,
who passed from a coma into bliss early Monday evening, 9/14. He was 92
 years old.

 Bill Ballard

"Round here we don't talk unless we can improve in the silence."
Ron Rude, local Public Radio Commentator.

You have my condolences. Thank you for sharing.
