Bob, when you are striving for near perfection you cannot  accept. "...
seem to be okay. The center pins seem to be the perfect tighness."  This
is not good enough.

Teflon pinning needs to be a little tighter at the wippen post than
felt.  Check each one by removing the wippen, move the spring out of the
way and check with a spring gram scale.  At the drop cushion 3 to 4
grams is a good target.  The shanks with hammers should swing 6 time +-/-
0.

Do two or three of the worst offenders and reset your spring tension.
If grease was used in the spring seats clean it out and off the spring.

If this does not do the trick I would check the up and down weights on
the worst offenders to check that they (DwnWt-UpWt)/2 are around 35 to
38 grams.

Looks good is NOT good enough when pushing the performance of an action.
