Hi Ed,

In addition to other posted suggestions, two thoughts come to mind.

1) Check for dried glue on the hammer rest rail felt.

2) If, perhaps,  only sharps are clicking check to see that any overly long
ones are not tapping against the nameboard (or it's equivalent) when the
key returns.

In general though, I favor Newton's suggestion in any trouble shooting
situation.

Isolate the problem by systematically isolating and ruling out the
individual systems involved.  In other words, "Divide And Conquer."

Sounds tedious but it usually works well and you get to learn a lot in the
process.
