Old Upright new Action?

Hi Folks,

I have come across a sweet sounding old upright. I am wondering about
wholesale replacement of the action. Anybody ever done that to an upright?
The old action has brass rails which are beginning to fail, and of course
it needs hammers, shanks, wippens and damphers.
