In the latter case, there are those who will tell you that the fastest, easiest, least-stressful and most permanent way of dealing with this problem is simply to view its solution as one of R&R--you just RE- MOVE the offending part and REPLACE it with a new one. In this case, you remove the entire piano and replace it with something of higher quality. Problem solved! At least that's what THEY say. :) Les Smith
