Now that I am using RCT, there are some instances when a string is dead on, full target blush and all. I leave it. When I was tuning aurally I would detune and retune to see if I could make it sound better. It seems like a good idea to me to minimize wear on the pinblock if we can reasonably do so. Clyde Allan L.
