I tune for a piano dealer with a wall of windows facing south. He put a UV
blocker of some kind on the windows to protect the pianos, but since the
pianos aren't there for all that long I don't know how effective it is. It is
still hot when tuning a piano close to the window on a sunny day. However,
with the sun at just the right angle and standing back a ways from the window
and looking at the window with sunglasses on, you get a really neat rainbow
effect.
That exhausts my knowledge of UV window treatments.
