I had a Schaff tuning hammer break where the shank joins the tip. Since then
the walnut handle cracked as well.....thankfully I don't use the tuning
hammer as a real hammer anymore...serves me right. The weld that repaired
the break is still holding.
If I remember correctly, we didn't use an exy-out, we had to drill it out
from below.

Wonderwand handle broke away from the tip.  Talk about an 
easy-out nightmare.  Anyone ever have their tuning hammer break?
