..a "sure fix"?..perhaps not..but try moving the position of the metal rod
that attaches to the slot..i have had to move a handful back one hole in the
pedal..it's not a hard job..seems to take care of the problem..the same
problem might also occur with any Baldwin-made/assigned Vertical.
