Mildew can only survive in a humid environment...as far as I know. Try a Dampp-Chaser system with plenty of rods. To ensure the action has sufficient coverage, a 25 watt 36' rod under the keybed and for the rest of the piano a 48" 50 watt rod along the belly rail, and at least two more 48" or 36" rods running along the backposts....whatever will fit. Of course all these should be running through a Humidistat...but you already knew that! The mildew won't return as long as the system is running.
