Piano 'detuning'

For the one client in a career who is used to an out of tune piano and wants that
sound back, 
Ask  him/her what they think about pianos they hear on TV, radio and CD's .  Tell
them this is how you have tuned their piano, which is just as you do for clients who
are professional musicians. Then if they still want to buck the trend, they should
realize that for "specialized" tunings they might expect to pay a little extra.  You
might bend their way a little and explain that at least they should have their
instrument to pitch, just as Liszt did.        ric
