All.... My solution was to throw the dang foot switch away! I then mounted a switch on a small magnet. I stick it on a convenient irion place on the piano such as the plate. I also put a small piece of velcro on the upper right hand corner of the SAT and a matching piece on the wire. This takes the tension off the wire at the plug in the rear of the SAT.
