Hi Ed,

Thanks for the input.

Seeing where the hammer falls from the jack is an excellent place to use for
a gauge.  I was thinking about this one, but didn't get it all in before I
hit the send button.  It would be very consistent provided a lot of
regulating came before.

I sat in on a class a few months ago where this was the subject material for
about 3 hours, and the guy teaching had a well shaped block of steel (felted
all around) to use to hold down the keys at a specific pressure.  Seemed a
little cumbersome, but with use, it might become pretty easy.?
