Front Weight Problem

Hi David,
               I don't think we are disagreeing, on a thing, bear in mind
we are talking about a Samick action, where the mfg is using the spring as
the cure all for every malady of the action.   Wippen ASSIST means just
that, not wippen lift springs.
I love them when they are used for very refined touch weight adjustments.
But the action has to be functioning correctly, and in the ball park, re
friction, UW, DW, before the springs are engaged.
Please don't misunderstand me, I like them, and what they can do, when used
correctly.
18gms however would be high for my taste.  But I have an open mind on the
subject.
May be I should get involved a little more with your system.
