Square grand dampers

  My new client has a Steinway square grand which has had the strings
and hammers replaced by the previous owner.  

  It needs new -damper felts- and I need to know how best to replace
them.  Any Journal articles describe an efficient method?

  Steinway says they do not carry pre-cut damper felts for square
grands.
