Seems like this would be a great time to run out to the car and (after making 
a few notes on the cost of the work involved) use the cell phone to call the 
dealer for a chat.  Being out of the customer's hearing would avoid involving 
him in what you have to say about the piano until the dealer has had a chance 
to state his position.

Several of the cell carriers in our area have inexpensive arrangements that 
will allow one to call anywhere in the country without long distance charges, 
and I assume Florida is no different.
