moving piano away from wall

Hi,
I like the idea of the sheet metal as well.
I usually have them move one end as I move the other. I also inform them
of posible damage, if the floor is not carpeted. Vinyl and tile will
also mark.
A tuner I new moved one on a new hardwood floor, made a mark. To fix it
they had to redo 3/4 of the floor in order to match the wood. It was the
factory finish stuff, so sanding and refinishing was not an option.
I think it was over $3000 for the repair.
Seemed high to me.
