Bob A & and Bill B,
	This is interesting info. I wonder if the Elmers glue that Bill B
mentioned helps with the expansion/contraction problem. I may try that
sometime. It is a quandary when confronted with an hour long repair that
seems like it should take a few minutes. I find that it's about as much
work to do 3-4 as to do one. Then after 6-7 you start to add up some
time. I generally take them home to make the repair and most people when
presented with alternatives, opt for making the repair. As someone
mentioned the intersection of cost of plastic replacement is rapid.
	It surprises me that this is hyde glue we're talking about. Doesn't
that make a rather ugly color unless you do whiten it somehow? I know
someone mentioned a whitener. Those prepared linen glue wafers sure
don't act like hyde glue. Please enlighten me further.
