Yes, I used the two part bleach liquid. The bleach will not loosen
the joints. It dries quickly. No, the ribs don't get to "see" any
bleach, cause they're on the other side. I also tried matching the
color and masking the glue joint of the shim, but I gave up and used the
bleach.
