Hi Paul,
             Yes, 40watts Weller, I find 80watts too hot, I can singe the
felt when dry ironing to brighten the tone.
I dry iron after all major voicing jobs, either steam or needles.  I have
found that it always produces a few bright stand outs that need correction.
 This leads to more stable job, and minimal recalls.
