I didn't catch this at first. If the #7 bridge pin is "every tight" you
probably used the wrong thickness of bushing cloth. The pin should slide
through with about 2-3 grams of resistance. Test your current work with a
clean damper wire. If it slides though with no resistance, I'd say you'll
probably be ok. Yamaha fits theirs this way. I can't tell you what cloth or
thickness they use, but we have very little trouble with their dampers.
