Hi Diane,

Thanks for posting the pictures.

I did pretty good up until I looked at the pics for the Steinway at the
National Cathedral.  When I saw them, my heart sank a little.  What a
disgrace, to allow that instrument to be abused to that point.  Made me
wonder if it has a verdigris problem as well, or what decade it might have
been serviced last.  No cover.  (I'm guessing) no climate control.  No
dignity and respect.  (Am I allowed to use those terms in connection with an
inanimate object?)  It's the same sort of feeling I get when I see a
tattered and torn flag flying high on a pole.  It just  'ain't'  right.
