Changing roller size.

 Yes that's right 'if' the desired hammer line is not changed to accommodate 
the smaller knuckle, 'if' the hammer line is adjusted then the small changes 
happen elsewhere in the action/keybed .

 Yes, this as well as the smaller knuckle would require less travel for the 
jack to be in a 'playable position' quicker and the smaller knuckle 'should' 
weigh a tad less than the larger knuckle. Any of these by themselves are 
indeed miniscule but together they do offer a very noticable difference in 
playability for the better or advanced player....................

 No I am not advocating wholesale replacement to smaller knuckles, just 
discussing what happens when they are used. Knuckle size in and of itself is 
just one of the factors that must be taken into account when we does our 
thang! :-)
