Action friction reduction question

Hi,

If bushings are wet with a solution of alcohol and water they will *size*
themselves to the pin. The alcohol is merely a wetting agent. i.e.
something to lower the surface tension of the water so that it can be
absorbed. More water =  more shrinking of the felt = looser action center.
