Clyde I hate the string breaking event too. Just curious, do you "jump" or "react" suddenly to other loud unexpected sounds? I wonder if this has more to do with my displeasure of string breakage than string breakage. After the #@%$&*^ string breaks, I don't mind the repair. Its that sudden, unexpected loud BANG in the middle of a peaceful, tranquil tuning....
