HI List. Reading your posts on this Tuner hazard, reminds me of my earlier days when working in a large Piano repair shop. The favourite trick on a newbie or someone showing great concern over a pending bass string breaking was to bang a large hammer on a work bench close by. Guaranteed a jump in the air of at least 12 inches. Robin (Aussie)
