---------------------- multipart/alternative attachment Phil, I have had a Shopsmith for years and there were times when that was all I could have. I have always had limited space. Now that I am getting involved with more and more in the woodworking realm I really would appreciate the separates. I'm thinking that especially the table saw would be a good addition. I really hate the way the table tilts and not the saw blade. If you've ever made a cut with the wood falling into the blade with he angle of the table you'd know what I mean. Even if you put the wood on the backside of the blade it's still dangerous with that much blade exposed. On the flip side the horizontal boring machine is nice to have, I would not have purchased a separate lathe but I'm glad I have one, the larger table for the drill press is nice including the tilting table but moving the head up and down is tough. Borrowing angles from one set up to another is nice sometimes. In general I'm getting to the point in my life where I would like to just walk over to the tool, turn it on and use it. I wouldn't give it up but I would like to add the others now. FWIW Greg Newell Jon Page wrote: > I have limited space and have found the Shopsmith multi-tool to suit > my purposes.
