extra mileage

In response to the question about charging for extra mileage; I service a 
fifteen mile area without extra charges. Between 15 and 25 miles I charge 
$8 more, and itemize it as "extra mileage charge" on the bill, having 
told the customer about the possibility when making the appointment. 
Farther than 25 miles I charge $1 per mile, one way. Can't say how well 
it works yet as I have only lived in urban areas and most customers are 
withing the 15 mile area. You can see my price list on my business web page.
