Here's another 2 cents - standard tuning $65, mileage: 1st 30 miles round trip @ .35 cents per mile, after that .90 cents per mile round trip. A couple of years ago I had to pay a guy with a back hoe $65 per hour from the time he left his coffee on the kitchen table until he returned to that cup of java. I still resent it. While I can see the cost of the equipment being amortized in the steep operator fee, I can't justify the same hourly rate for listening to Dr. Laura and avoiding other traffic. Same with tuning - I take a little less than my hourly rate on driving, but it really takes less talent to operate a van. Sure, my time is valuable, but not THAT valuable, in my humble....
