"Visiting" Tuners

 I have to pay Wisconsin Sales tax  "5.5%.   A business permit, a business
 phone, etc.
 
 There are a number of these people each year coming for a "Vacation" from
 another state that I have to deal with.
 
 How would you PROFESSIONALS"  handle this. I'm thinking about turning him
 in to the State tax people. >>

If you feel that this guy, and others, are hurting your business, then you 
have the right to report him to the state. But it would seem to me that the 
people who call him are probably ones you don't want to deal with in the 
first place. They are customers who want a $100 tuning for $45, and then 
complain they didn't get what they paid for. Then they will call you to 
correct mistakes, or tune it better, after he has left the area. You'll still 
make money.

Just my 2 cents worth.
