The symptoms I had for carpel tunnel syndrome were a numbness on the palm
side of my thumbs (both hands), the index and second fingers were numb and
the second finger side of my ring fingers were numb. What a strange feeling.
The nerve pain could be followed up through my forearms and elbows and
through my arm pits. I would wake up nights with very painful tingling in
both arms. Had the surgery done in the summer of 1980. I changed some habits
like no pounding with the heel of my hand etc., and haven't had any trouble
since.
