Whippen / wippen

I'm just wondering...have any of you actually met Arthur Reblitz?  He is
purported to be an authority on everything pianos, but I have never heard of
him attending a national convention or having a booth to sell his books.  I
just wonder if anyone actually "knows" him.  It just seems that he would be
someone we would all have seen at conventions, in my opinion.  Any comments?
It seems to me that any piano "authority" would be teaching convention
classes!
