Rebush Damper Guide Rail

Hi Roger. Yes they are thick. I have the same setup on a square I am
rebuilding in my shop. The damper wire guides are holes drilled through the
plate, pinblock, and then some timber under the pinblock. The hole is lined
with a black thin cloth-type stuff.

See all the fun you miss out on only working on those brand new $50,000
high-class pie-ann-ers!  ;-)
