While it 'is', or would be, the "dealers responsibility" there is a concomitant responsibility for the tech. That is to do no harm................ I am not familiar with the horn "bolt" arrangement on Young Changs but there is a procedure I have used in the past for moving horn wedges..................... 1. After removing the action place a pinblock jack directly behind the horn (bolt). 2. Use a block above and below the jack to spread the load over a larger surface. 3. Apply pressure to the pinblock with the jack just until the horn bolt becomes loose enough to either 'lightly tap' the horn bolt over or to move it over by hand. 4. Release the jack pressure and try the action for clearance. Be careful and don't slide the horn bolt so far that you cause problems on the other side! :-)...............of course if the YC horn bolt is placed in 'recesses' on the belly rail and/or plate and can't be moved then obviously the above won't work. If the jack takes sufficient pressure off of the horn bolt to allow removal, any machining to fit would be much simpler............ Good luck, let us know how it turns out. Jim Bryant (FL)
