Yes, that is correct.  Next time you are at a piano look at
the pins.

What I like is to see a key slowly drift down to rest
position from having been lifted about a half inch at the
front.  That is what I would _like_ to see but rarely
accomplish.  I regulated a Bosendorfer for Ramond Leppard
where I got a fit like that.  Cleanliness and lubrication
are super critical to doing a good job.

And this is correct with the larger .147" and .163 pins but
when you get to .137" and smaller ones easing like that will
cause key rattle.  There are really good reasons S&S used
.163" pins in the past.  Again, the smaller the pin the more
critical the fit becomes.
