Well, yes and no. It is not automatic. If you set the machine to the upper 
note of an octave, and play the lower note, it will show you the second 
partial. Use the veneer control to stop the lights and then tune the upper 
note. With the same idea you can tune double octaves, also.

This machine does note have the accuracy of an RCT or SAT though.
